Current Project: Sound Editing for "Migration of Beauty",
a documentary 4 years in the making, by Chris Flaherty.
The film deals with the Ethiopian/American experience of
political participation within a fair democratic process and will be finished before the end of this summer in time for the 2010 film festivals. Winner of the 2007 Los Angeles music award for best film music, Gabriele Bazzi Berneri, is composing an original soundtrack for the film.

I'm proud to have contributed a song to the upcoming compilation cd The Underground Sound of DC, Vol. 1. The compilation includes luminaries such as Thievery Corporation (with a brilliant remix of David Byrne's "The Heart's a Lonely Hunter"), Kid Gusto, Fort Knox Five, Jette-Ives, and many more local DC artists.

The Underground Sound of DC is an ad-hoc collaboration of some of D.C.'s best and most diverse electronic music producers who have given their work to bring awareness to the serious HIV/AIDS crisis in the nation's capital.
Whitman-Walker Clinic and the work they do to prevent and treat HIV and AIDS.
